Working Field Superintendent – Pool Installation

Job Type: Full-Time – PLEASE NOTE – WE ARE WILLING TO TRAIN

 

Job Summary:
The Working Field Superintendent is a hands-on leader responsible for both supervising and actively participating in the construction process. This role requires a skilled professional who can oversee projects, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure quality while also performing fieldwork as needed. The ideal candidate has experience in pool construction or similar field, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.

 

Fieldwork & Construction Duties:

  • Perform hands-on work, including excavation, plumbing, rebar installation, shotcrete, tile, and equipment setup.
  • Operate construction tools and machinery as needed.
    Troubleshoot on-site issues and implement practical solutions.
  • Ensure proper material handling and quality craftsmanship.

 

Supervisory & Management Duties:
Oversee all phases of pool construction, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.
Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and in-house crews.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, enforce safety regulations, and uphold quality standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, making adjustments as necessary.
Maintain daily project logs, documenting job progress, materials used, and any challenges.
Communicate with clients, project managers, and team members to ensure smooth workflow.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, permits, and industry regulations.
